Hello, everyone!
Well, I’ve certainly been busy since the last time I posted. Clients, projects, traveling, life…it all takes time, and something had to give.
That thing ended up being this blog.
But I’m back!
I wasn’t really gone, of course—I’ve been hard at work editing some amazing science fiction books and other projects, and I’m working on a brand-new project I’m very excited to share with all of you.
But I did step away from blogging and social media for a bit while I tweaked my website and services. And now I’m ready to share the results with all of you.
Here’s What’s Different
If you’re new here—welcome!
Have a look around the site and see what you find. I offer two levels of copyediting for fiction authors, editorial assessments for every budget, and several other types of fiction editing and nonfiction editing for books of all sorts (though my greatest love is science fiction).
If you’ve been here before—welcome back!
(And if you’ve been around recently and stumbled across any broken links or other construction debris…everything should be working fine now! Thanks for bearing with my site updates.)
A few things have moved around or changed, but you should still be able to find everything you need about my professional editing services for independent authors. You’ll also find new options for back cover copy and other promotional materials for authors and publishers, as well as new business and consulting services.
Here’s What’s the Same
As always, I remain committed to proving excellent work to satisfied clients.
(If we’ve worked together in the past, please consider submitting a testimonial!)
I continue to offer quality editing services to new and returning clients, and I am constantly looking for new ways to help demystify what editing really entails and make the publishing process a little easier. (Watch this space for more!)
And if what you’re looking for falls somewhere in between two listed services, feel free to drop me a line and we can work something out.
Here’s What’s Coming
I’m extremely excited to tell you about a new project I’m working on!
It’s called Writers Gone Rogue, and it will be a learning center for free and premium e-courses for authors who want to learn more about revising their own manuscripts…or even become editors themselves. I’m looking forward to sharing lots of new opportunities with all of you.
If you’d like to sign up for special opportunities, early access, and exclusive discounts on premium courses, head to Writers Gone Rogue to register.
(I’ll mention the most important stuff on this blog, but the Writers Gone Rogue mailing list is the ONLY place to find all of the most exclusive opportunities. You don’t want to miss it.)
Happy Writing!
That’s all from me for now! It’s been an amazing ten-plus years of business, and I’m looking forward to working on lots more exciting projects in the months and years ahead.
To all of you authors out there, wherever you are in your writing process—whether you’re deep in your WIP or still scheming up your story—hang in there. You can do it!
Keep writing, even if it’s just a little bit at a time. Those little bits add up.
You’ll get there.
