What is Spoonbridge Press?

When authors started asking me to not just edit but also design and publish their books, I was hesitant. After publishing my own book in 2014, I knew how many steps were involved in managing a project. I had the network of book designers and publication specialists, but with a full editing schedule, I knew I wouldn’t always be able to help existing clients or meet with new ones as quickly as they deserved. I needed more bandwidth.

Then, in 2021, Spoonbridge Press was born.

Along with Britt Peterson—educator, project manager, all-around organizational wiz, and old friend—I’m now able to offer a full suite of publishing services for independent authors with the confidence that I can focus deeply on each project with the confidence that our other clients are being cared for. Britt has an incredible capacity for problem-solving and getting things done, and I’m thrilled for the opportunity to help even more clients through the entire publishing journey, from editing and book design to distribution and beyond.
